How to tap Through the Fire and Flames (intro) PDF Print E-mail

READ THIS! I forgot to mention that you need to start off with an elbow strum. It seems pretty obvious, but I thought I'd mention it here.

This is my guide to tapping the intro of Through the Fire and Flames on GH3. I use fretsonfiregh2's method, but check birdface23's vid (response) for an alternative. Enjoy.

Here's some extra info from the comments:   I just dont get how you "hammer on" the green button if it's constantly held down.??

You're actually "pulling off" to it. When you hit the red button, it gets hammered on, but then you're releasing it back onto the green. On an actual guitar, you would hold down a lower fret (say, the fifth), then pull off of the higher fret (like 7th). You actually have to sort of scratch down to play the note. That's not imporatant to GH though. The important thing is how real pulloffs work and how they're implemented in GH. Pretty long-winded explanation there...

This Tutorial is a few tricks that I intuitively came up with to help people out on beating Through the Fire and Flames on Expert, more accurate strumming and an easy way to beat the game on Lefty Switch. The lefty switch trick can work on Battle as well, but takes practice.
